Re-entry
Copying the same information by hand from one tool to another. Every copy costs minutes, adds a possible error, and shows up nowhere.
Re-entry is the form copied into the CRM, the record copied into the quote, the quote copied into the invoice. Nobody decided it: it settles in, one tool at a time.
Its cost is invisible because it is crumbled: three minutes here, five there. Count it over one complete file: most of our clients find thirty to sixty minutes of copying per file, plus the errors. Multiply by your monthly volume: it is the first deposit of recoverable hours, and the first thing a system makes disappear.

The system between your tools
Do not buy a ninth tool
You pay for eight tools and still re-enter everything. The problem is not a missing tool: your tools do not talk to each other.
