SaaS
Software rented online, billed by subscription, often per person per month. Handy to start with, costly as the team grows.
SaaS (“Software as a Service”): software is no longer bought but rented, used from a browser, updated by the vendor. Your CRM, your invoicing tool and your team chat are probably SaaS.
The strength: start in ten minutes, install nothing. The weakness: the bill. Almost all charge per seat: every hire raises the invoice, forever. At eight tools and twenty people, the total often exceeds what a system of your own would cost. Hence our rule: keep the SaaS tools that do their job well, and own what connects them.

The system between your tools
Do not buy a ninth tool
You pay for eight tools and still re-enter everything. The problem is not a missing tool: your tools do not talk to each other.
