What changes for you

You don't "finish a course." You ship things.

Ship a real product

Deployed, used by real people, under your name.

Write production code

TypeScript, React, APIs, databases, with AI on your side.

Pair with AI like a pro

Agent workflows, context engineering, modern tooling.

Own your toolchain

Git, CI/CD, observability, the fundamentals that compound.

Build a portfolio

Three shippable projects, deployable anywhere.

Join a network

Community access alongside every other builder on the path.

The path

Four modules. Beginner to builder.

The same curriculum whether you are self-paced or coached. You just move through it at different speeds.

  1. Module 1

    Fundamentals that last

TypeScript, the browser, the server, and the parts of the web that don't change. Set up a real dev environment that future-you will thank you for.

  2. Module 2

    Building with AI

Cursor, Claude Code, agents, context engineering. How to actually pair with AI instead of fighting it.

  3. Module 3

    Product thinking

Shipping a real idea end-to-end: design, backend, auth, payments, deployment.

  4. Module 4

    Launch & iterate

Analytics, feedback, iteration. You leave with a project real users can use, and a portfolio piece that proves you can ship.

How it works

Built for people with jobs, lives, kids.

You control the pace. No live classes to miss, no cohort you fall behind. Just a path, the tools, and (optionally) a mentor.

Read, watch, build

Each lesson is a short write-up plus a project prompt. No 2-hour lecture videos.

AI pairing built in

You use Claude or Cursor from lesson one. Prompts and context-engineering are taught explicitly.

Community, not classroom

Ask questions, share progress, get unstuck in the Zippytal Community rooms.

Ship, don't cram

You ship a small thing every week. By the end, you have a portfolio that proves you ship.

Alumni

People who left with something they built.

"I'd taken three 'learn to code' courses before this. It was the first one where I actually built something I still use."

Sami R.

Shipped: a journaling app for ADHD · now 400 users

"The AI-first part was the unlock. I'd been trying to use Claude and Cursor without knowing how. Now it's my superpower."

Jules A.

Shipped: an invoicing tool for freelance designers

"The coaching paid for itself the first month. Shipped a working MVP by week four. Could not have done it solo."

Nora E.

Shipped: a community platform for runners

Questions people actually ask

The basics, out of the way.

Is the free course really free?+

Yes. No credit card, no account required. The full AI Code Academy course lives at aicode-academy.com — open to anyone. It's our way of making AI-era coding accessible, and it's how we meet the students who later apply for coaching.

Why is coaching application-only?+

We only take 5 new coaching students per month. That cap is what lets us guarantee weekly 1:1s, 24-hour code reviews, and same-day async unsticking. Application is fast (about 3 minutes) and lets us pick people we can actually help — we reply to everyone within 48 hours either way.

What's the difference between the free course and coaching?+

The free course is self-paced with community support. Coaching layers weekly 1:1 calls, unlimited code review, priority async help, and a mentor who picks projects for you. You go faster, and you get unstuck the same day instead of next week.

Do I need prior coding experience?+

No. Module 1 starts from scratch. We expect curiosity and time, not a CS degree. If you've coded before, you'll move through the early modules quickly.

What stack will I learn?+

TypeScript, React, modern web tooling, and AI pair programming with Claude and Cursor. Everything transfers to other stacks. The mindset matters more than the syntax.

Can I start free and apply for coaching later?+

That's the recommended path. Most coached students start with the free course and apply for 1:1 the moment they hit something they want help pushing through.

How much time per week do I need?+

The free course runs at your own pace. Coached students typically spend 6 to 10 hours a week and ship their first real project in about 4 weeks.

What if all monthly seats are taken when I apply?+

We'll tell you on the reply. You can either hold for next month's intake (you stay first in line) or stay on the free course and we'll ping you when seats open. Either way, no auto-charges, no waitlist fee.

Start for free.
Upgrade when it pays off.

The course is yours either way. Coaching is there the day you decide you want a mentor in the room.
